Music, when soft voices die,

Vibrates in the memory—

Odours, when sweet violets sicken,

Live within the sense they quicken.


جب چھوڑ دیا لوگوں نے گانا

بجتا رہا راگ اپنی یاداشت میں۔

مرجھائے گل کی خوشبو کا کیا کہیے

رہتی ہے زندہ مرجھا نے کے بعد کیا کہیے۔



Rose leaves, when the rose is dead,

Are heaped for the belovèd's bed;

And so thy thoughts, when thou art gone,

Love itself shall slumber on.



اس مرجھائے گل کی پنکھڑیوں کا کیا کیجئے

محبوب کی سیج پر اسے لٹا دیجیۓ۔

رہیں گی تیری یاد تیرےجانے کے بعد بھی

رہیں گی یہ محبت تیرے جانے کے بعد بھی۔

“In a Station of the Metro" Ezra Pound, analysis and interpretation. Imagism:(1912 and 1914) Imagism was an early 20th-century movement born in England and America. It was a reaction to romantic and Victorian poetry. During modernism, the writers tried to experiment with writing so imagism was the product.  Ezra Pound was the father of the imagist movement. The aim of the imagist movement was to create concrete images with words. The research question guides the researcher to provide a proper solution.
