Explanation of Life of Galileo | Exploring the conflict between Science and Religion in Life of Galileo: Abstract: Life of Galileo is a biographical play revolving around the life events of an Italian scientist Galileo Galilei. This article explores the tension between science and church that was prominent before the 17th century onwards. The church wanted to interpret science according to the Bible but it was impossible due to the fact that religion does not support empirical arguments. Galileo tried to promote theories and ideas which were against the Bible and the church. He faced hardships but succeeded in the end. Analysis, Interpretation and Summary of Ezra Pound's poem  An Immorality  " An Immorality"   Sing we for love and idleness, Naught else is worth the having.   Though I have been in many a land, There is naught else in living.   And I would rather have my sweet, Though rose-leaves die of grieving,   Than do high deeds in Hungary To pass all men's believing.   Critical Analysis: To unlock the hidden meaning of the poem we need to understand the narrative framing of this poem. It seems that there are two narrators in this poem. The first narrator is the author himself who gives the title “An Immorality” to the poem.
